ASH Finland - Advocacy, Networking and Communications

ASH Finland is a public health organization. We emphasize the legislative aim to end tobacco use by 2030.

ASH Finland does not support harm reduction policy. We support policy measures which aim to get rid of all tobacco products or non-medical nicotine products. Another important objective is to improve health-oriented alcohol policy.

ASH Finland contributes to national decision-making, actively builds networks with important operators in the field, distributes information regarding tobacco and alcohol policy, provides expert services and participates in international projects.

We are involved in the planning, execution, evaluation and development of projects concerning tobacco and alcohol policies. We also stay up-to-date with the public discussion and participate in it. We relay information regarding international developments in the field to decision-makers, partners and our members.

Our operations are funded by the The Funding Centre for Social Welfare and Health Organisations (STEA).

We also coordinate Tobacco-Free Finland 2030 -project
